RETURN, EXCHANGE & COMMERCIAL WARRANTY POLICY

SUMMARY: Meubles de Luxe (ROI DU MATELAS INC.) offers a strict 48-hour inspection window from delivery or pickup to request an exchange or store credit only (no cash refunds under any circumstance), provided the item is unused, unassembled, unmarked, and returned with all original packaging intact; items without packaging are refused. Opened mattresses, bedding, custom orders, clearance/as-is items, gift cards, and damaged or misused products are final sale, even within 48 hours. All requests require prior RMA approval, customers are responsible for return shipping, original delivery fees are non-refundable, and a 15% restocking fee applies. Manufacturer commercial warranties apply only to verified defects and are separate from returns, while customers’ Quebec Legal Warranty rights remain fully intact and unaffected by this policy.
SECTION I: GENERAL RETURN & EXCHANGE PRINCIPLES
1. Policy Philosophy and Relationship to Legal Warranty
This policy outlines the commercial return, exchange, and warranty conditions offered by ROI DU MATELAS INC. (Meubles de Luxe). This is a voluntary commercial policy and exists in addition to, and does not limit or replace, your mandatory statutory rights under the Quebec Legal Warranty of Quality, as detailed in our separate Legal Warranty Notice.
This commercial policy governs non-defective merchandise and customer-initiated returns or exchanges. The Legal Warranty provides broader, legally enforceable protections for hidden defects.
2. Eligibility Window: 48-Hour Inspection & Exchange Period (Strict)
You have forty-eight (48) hours only from the moment of delivery (as confirmed by carrier tracking) or in-store pickup to:
• Inspect the product
• Report visible issues
• Request an exchange or store credit
⛔ No return, exchange, or store credit request will be accepted after 48 hours, regardless of reason, unless the claim falls under the Legal Warranty or a Manufacturer’s Commercial Warranty for defects.

3. Condition Requirements for Exchanges & Store Credit
To qualify within the 48-hour window, the item must be in Like-New, Fully Resalable Condition, meaning:
• Unused and Unassembled — not slept on, sat on, assembled, or altered
• Unmarked — no stains, odors, scratches, or wear
• Original Packaging Required — all boxes, foam, plastic wrap, manuals, and tags must be intact and undamaged
📦 Items returned without original packaging will be refused.
Hygiene Policy – Mattresses & Bedding (Strict)
For health and hygiene reasons:
• Any mattress, mattress topper, pillow, duvet, or bedding item that has been removed from its original sealed plastic packaging is FINAL SALE
• No exchange or store credit is permitted unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed under warranty
4. Non-Returnable & Final Sale Items
The following items are FINAL SALE and cannot be exchanged or credited, even within 48 hours:
• Custom-ordered products (special sizes, fabrics, finishes, configurations)
• Clearance, floor models, or “As-Is” items
• Opened mattresses or bedding
• Gift cards and certificates
• Products damaged due to misuse, improper assembly, neglect, or accidents

All exchanges or store credit requests require prior approval and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

6. Transportation & Fees
• Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility

Restocking Fee
A 15% restocking fee applies to all approved exchanges or store credit returns.
• Original delivery and shipping fees are non-refundable
• Any approved store credit is issued after inspection
7. Refund Method – Store Credit Only
